Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Zeta Tau Alpha’s national philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. One in eight women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.  Our goal as Alpha Eta is to turn this one-in-eight to none-in-eight by properly educating our community and raising money to fight. Through local and national partnerships, campus and community initiatives, and the distribution of millions of pink ribbons since 1992. ZTA collegiate and alumnae members are dedicated to our philanthropy. By spreading the message of breast cancer education and awareness, ZTA sisters are determined to diminish this disease.

Our efforts in Alpha Eta has earned us the “Founder’s Club” award since being reinstated in 2018. Events we have hosted include our annual “Crown Classic”, the “Think Pink Pageant”, our Pink Color Run, campus food fundraisers, “Zlime-a-Zeta”, Krispy Kreme Donuts and more!
